Kedatangan calon gubernur petahana ini dalam rangka menjawab 2 laporan masyarakat terkait dugaan sementara pelanggaran pilkada.
Didampingi kuasa hukum, Rohidin menjelaskan bila laporan dugaan pelanggaran tidak seperti yang disangkakan oleh pelapor.
“saya mengklarifikasi bahwa laporan di Ketahun, itu dalam posisi saya sebagai ketua Golkar provinsi, lalu pada saat bersamaan kan itu merupakan acara syukuran atas dilantiknya anggota DPRD provinsi bapak Juhaili, tidak membawa embel-embel paslon bahkan saat itu bukan jadwal kampanye saya.” Kata Rohidin.
Lebih lanjut calon gubernur yang bakal didampingi Meriani itu juga menampik bila kejadian ditempat lainnya juga dianggap money politic,
