Bengkulu, mimbarline.com-Dukungan terhadap pasangan calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Bengkulu, Rohidin Mersyah dan Meriani (ROMER), terus bertambah.
Kali ini, Rosdiana, ibunda mantan Anggota DPR RI Patrice Rio Capela, secara tegas menyatakan dukungannya kepada Rohidin Mersyah di kediaman Azhari calon Bupati Lebong.
Rosdiana mengungkapkan bahwa dukungannya kepada pasangan Rohidin-Meriani didasarkan pada kesamaan nomor urut antara pasangan calon Gubernur Bengkulu tersebut dengan pasangan calon Bupati Lebong, Azhari dan Bambang, yang sama-sama memiliki nomor urut 2.
“Kami satu paket dengan nomor urut 2, baik pasangan Rohidin-Meriani untuk calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Bengkulu maupun Azhari-Bambang untuk calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Lebong. Meski Helmi itu sudah kami anggap seperti anak sendiri karena sering berkunjung, tapi bagaimana pun kami mendukung satu paket nomor 2,” ujar Rosdiana, Jumat (18/10).
Pada Pilgub Bengkulu 2024 mendatang, hanya ada dua pasangan calon yang akan bersaing memperebutkan kursi BD 1 Provinsi Bengkulu. Meskipun kedua pasangan calon sama-sama kuat, pasangan Rohidin-Meriani dinilai lebih menarik perhatian karena keduanya merupakan putra-putri asli Bengkulu.
Rosdiana menambahkan bahwa alasan utama ia mendukung pasangan ROMER adalah karena keduanya merupakan putra asli daerah Bengkulu.
“Itu alasan pertama, putra asli Bengkulu. Selanjutnya, kita yakin menang dan melanjutkan pembangunan yang ada,” tutupnya.(.ct)
