Bengkulu, Mimbarline.com – Prestasi membanggakan kembali diraih oleh SDN 5 Bengkulu setelah salah satu siswanya kelas 6 D, M. Rafael Riyu Kenza, berhasil meraih Juara 3 dalam ajang Lomba Spelling Bee yang berlangsung di Hotel Mercure Bengkulu, pada Minggu, 23 November 2025 pukul 09.00 WIB.

Kompetisi bergengsi yang diikuti oleh puluhan peserta dari berbagai sekolah ini berlangsung dengan sangat ketat dan penuh antusias. Setiap peserta diuji kemampuan mengeja dan memahami kosakata bahasa Inggris secara cepat dan tepat.

Acara dipandu dengan menarik oleh Miss Ade dan Mr. Jesse  dari Australia selaku announcer atau pembawa acara. Sementara dewan juri terdiri dari Miss Khintan, Miss Fera, dan Miss Salsa yang merupakan juri resmi dari pihak penyelenggara.

Kepala SDN 5 Bengkulu H. Afriza Herawati, S.Pd  menyampaikan rasa bangga dan apresiasinya atas capaian yang diraih Rafael. “Prestasi ini membuktikan bahwa kerja keras, latihan, dan semangat belajar dapat menghantarkan hasil yang membanggakan. Sekolah sangat bangga dan berharap prestasi ini dapat menjadi motivasi bagi siswa lainnya,” ujarnya.

M. Rafael sendiri mengaku senang dan tidak menyangka dapat meraih posisi tiga besar. Ia berharap dapat terus meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggrisnya dan mengikuti kompetisi yang lebih tinggi di masa depan.

Ajang Spelling Bee ini diharapkan terus menjadi wadah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris siswa sekaligus membangun kepercayaan diri dalam berkompetisi.

Selamat untuk M. Rafael Riyu Kenza dan SDN 5 Bengkulu atas prestasi membanggakan tersebut. Semoga semakin banyak prestasi yang diraih di masa mendatang.
