BENGKULU, Mimbarline.com-Gubernur Rohidin Mersyah mendorong percepatan pembuatan Perda hukum masyàrakat adat Enggano Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara.
Percepatan pembuatan Perda hukum adat masyarakat Enggano, kata Rohidin, bertujuan untuk melindungi masyarakat adat Enggano agar tak terusir dari tempat aslinya.
“Kalau kita tidak membuat Perda, nantinya masyarakat asli Enggano akan terusir tersendiri. Kenapa pemikiràan ini masuk? Karena sudah masuk major project,” kata Gubernur Rohidin pada Workhshop Konsolidasi Percepatan Pengakuan Masyarakat Hukum Adat Enggano yang digelar di Hotel Two K Azana, Selasa (21/5).
“Enggano ini menjadi pulau eksotis, seandainya berkembang bisa diakses ke Jakarta dan Pulau lainya ini bukan tidak mungkin enggano menjadi pusat ekonomi baru,” lanjut gubernur.
Pulau Enggano yang berada terluar memiliki ciri khas kebudayaan dan karakteristik perairan wilayah yang sangat eksotis dari pulau lainnya. Hal ini diyakini Gubernur Rohidin bahwa pulau Enggano dapat menjadi pusat ekonomi baru di masa mendatang dan dapat mendorong investor luar datang berbondong-bondong ke Enggano.
Maka, melalui worķshop yang digelar akar foundation terkait Konsolidasi Percepatan Pengakuan Masyarakat Hukum Adat Enggano, Gubernur Rohidin sangat mendukung demi menjaga masyarakat Enggano tak teusir dari tempat tinggalnya.
“Jadi kita workhshop untuķ membuat semacam kesepakatan produk hukum, apa itu pengakuan terhadap masyarakat hukum adat Enggano. Na, tiga tahun lalu saya pernah melontarkan peraturan daerah terkait perlindungan masyarakat hukum adat Enggano ini penting karena pulau Enggano terluar memiliki karakteristik keunggulan budaya lokal yang luar biasa kalau tidak dilindungi nanti takutnya terusir,” tambah Rohidin.
Sementara itu, Erwin Basrin selaku Direktur Akar Global Inisiatif mengklaim, sejauh ini Akar Global Inisiatif sudah melakukan riset mengenai masyarakat adat Enggano.
“Kita sudah melakukan riset mengenai Enggano setidaknya ada empat hal pertama, soal pengakuan hukum adat dari Perda kabupaten kota, kedua terkait hutan adat desa adat itu peran provinsi, ketiga hak kelolah wilayah laut, keempat situs kebudayaan. Na ini peluang mana yang nanti akan diidentifikasi masyarakat Enggano itu sendiri,” tutupnya. [Rilis Kominfotik]
