Entah berapapun jumlahnya, namun topik ini akan selalu menjadi pembicaraan yang menarik bagi orang tipe kedua ini. Hal seperti ini jelas menunjukkan betapa sikap dan juga perilaku di antara keduanya sangat berbeda.

2. Menabung adalah suatu kewajiban bukan pilihan.

Ciri khas lainnya yang dimiliki orang tipe ini adalah mereka gemar menabung. Bahkan menurut Warren Buffet, salah satu orang terkaya di dunia, sepertiga dari penghasilan seseorang seharusnya dialokasikan untuk menabung. Artinya, menabung bagi orang yang bahkan sudah memiliki banyak aset adalah hal yang sangat penting. Berbeda dengan orang yang hanya berpura-pura “kaya”, justru mereka lebih senang menghamburkan uangnya untuk hal-hal yang bersifat konsumtif ketimbang ditabung. Orang dengan tipe seperti ini cenderung ketika menghadapi suatu kebutuhan yang mendesak untuk dipenuhi (darurat), uangnya sudah habis terpakai.

3. Fokus pada investasi, bukan hanya sekadar konsumsi.

Lagi-lagi, orang tipe ini akan lebih fokus mengalihkan kekayaannya untuk investasi atau mengembangkan sayap bisnisnya. Sobat Sikapi tentu sering melihat, pengusaha A sebagai pemilik suatu perusahaan, membuka bisnis baru di bidang B. Mereka akan terus memutar otak untuk mengembangkan pundi-pundi kekayaannya dengan berinvestasi di berbagai bidang dibanding hanya sekedar menghabiskannya untuk kebutuhan konsumtif. Sebagai contoh, Reino Barack memilih untuk memulai bisnis restoran dengan dana yang berasal dari keuntungan investasi saham di perusahaan Apple. 4. Mempunyai strategi berhemat dari setiap pengeluaran.

Orang kaya beneran memiliki strategi dalam memanfaatkan pengeluarannya. Tidak semata-mata memiliki uang banyak lalu bebas untuk langsung membeli suatu barang tanpa mempertimbangkannya terlebih dahulu. Mereka akan menunggu hingga saat yang tepat untuk membeli barang tersebut, sampai pada suatu saat dimana mereka sudah memiliki cukup uang untuk mendapatkan berbagai barang yang dibutuhan tanpa membebani kondisi keuangannya. Sedangkan, bagi orang yang pura-pura “kaya” akan langsung membelanjakan uangnya tanpa menyisihkan sebagian penghasilannya untuk ditabung.

5. Memiliki passive income dari asetnya.

Hal tersebut merupakan strategi yang umumnya dipakai orang dengan tipe ini untuk meningkatkan nilai kekayaannya. Bagi orang tipe ini, mereka bukanlah orang dengan karakter mengejar jabatan dan gaji pada suatu perusahaan karena mereka umumnya tipe orang yang memiliki hasrat dapat memegang jabatan tertinggi pada perusahaannya sendiri dan justru bisa menggaji orang lain. Mereka merasa perlu untuk terus meningkatkan apa yang sudah dicapainya saat ini dengan mengembangkan usahanya dan terus belajar meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam memupuk penghasilan. Berbeda dengan orang yang hanya berpura-pura “kaya”, kelemahan mereka cenderung mudah puas dengan gaji/ penghasilan yang diterima dan menggunakan uangnya semata-mata untuk keinginan saat ini dan tidak berpikir jangka panjang.(cwt.01)
